DescriptionCook notes that the South Place Ethical Society "retains its own papers. Although General Committee minutes are available since 1877 and are complete for the past several decades, the best guide to the Society's activities is found in its monthly journal (1897-date), now called Ethical Record, copies of which are available for most of the twentieth century. An Annual Report has been issued since 1901 and bound copies are held. There is an incomplete series of ledgers and cash books from 1893 onwards. Since 1910 the annual Conway Memorial Lecture has also been published" C Cook, The Routledge Guide to British Political Archives, 2006; Cook & Waller, Sources in Contemporary British History, vol 1, 1994
