| Background Information | GOAL UK is an international development charity (no. 1107403) and the UK-branch of the Irish-based GOAL.
"GOAL works towards ensuring that the most vulnerable in our world and those affected by humanitarian crises have access to the fundamental needs and rights of life, i.e. food, water, shelter, medical attention and primary education."
Alongside disaster-relief work, GOAL has campaigned on, HIV/AIDS, child protection issues, corruption, the arms trade, and the protection of civilians during wartime.
The charity was originally founded by John O'Shea.
