| Background Information | The Keep Sunday Special campaign (KSS) opposes Sunday trading for major retail outlets. In doing so, it argues that large-scale Sunday trading is harmful to the family life of both workers and consumers, as well as undermining local convenience stores and damaging associational life more generally. It was formed in opposition to the British Government's abortive attempt to liberalise Sunday trading in the 1980s.
