Records of Railfuture are retained by the organistaion. According to Cook, the papers "are known to include minute books of both the specialist committees of the Society (covering freight rail, passenger rail, parliamentary liaison and international affairs) and of the National Conferences, since the date of foundation. Financial records and correspondence are closed to non-members, but a factfile booklet has been complied listing all reports and documents held by RDS. The Society also produces a quarterly newsletter Railwatch; and a history of the Society, Fighting for Rail, was published in 1988. Persons wishing to examine the papers should in the first instance contact the Administrative Officer."
