| Background Information | Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) is a campaign organisation aimed at the ending of British arms exports, and the government subsidies that support them, alongside arguing for the regulation and reduction of the global arms trade.
CAAT was established following the 1973 Middle East war. It has no formal membership, but is a coalition of affiliated and sponsoring groups.
CAAT is a founder member of the European Network Against Arms Trade.
