DescriptionAccording to Cook & Waller (Sources in contemporary British history, vol 1, 1994), the archives are maintained by the Fund's Secretariat and were surveyed in 1987 by the Wellcome Institute. It has not been possible to check exactly which records have been kept at the headquarters of the organisation, but Cook and Waller state that "a certain amount of material is held in the Fund's own library, such as Annual Reports (including accounts) from 1902; Scientific Reports; the Staff Reprint Collection, and press-cuttings and scrap-books from the Public Relations Department. (...) It should be noted that some of these records are available only on microfilm".
