| Background Information | In its own words, the "Industrial Christian Fellowship seeks to be an ecumenical organisation, working in partnership with all Christian denominations to help Christians live out their faith in the workplace." The organisation has its roots in the Navvy Mission, formed in 1877, and catering to the spiritual needs of those working on the great engineering projects of the Victorian era.
