| Background Information | Fairbridge is a youth charity, working in disadvantaged urban communities to support and develop those who either have dropped out, or are in danger of dropping out, of education or employment. The charity began life as part of the child migration schemes that sent British children to settle in, typically, Australia and Canada in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
