The Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP), London, is an environmental research and policy development charity, describing itself as "an independent and influential centre for the analysis and development of policies affecting the environment in Europe and beyond." A Brussels-based office of the same name was opened in 2001. The organisation is now independent, but it has in the past had strong links with the German body, the Institute for European Environmental Politics, and the Dutch-based European Cultural Foundation (ECF).
