| Description | The Peace Pledge Union has its own archive and archivist. A description of collections held there can be found on the online presentation of the archive. Among the records held, it should be noted that many local branches of PPU have deposited their papers there (see online list). In addition to the local PPU archives, the online presentation mentions that "the Archive includes some published material from the No More War Movement, founded in 1921, which merged with the PPU in 1937, and other material illustrative of peace campaigning before and during the Second World War. There are files of material by and about significant individuals." There is also material about the Conscientious Objection movements in Britain and numerous photographs.
The archives of the PPU have been (at least partially) microfilmed by Harvester and can be found in libraries across the country (for example in the Bodleian library in Oxford). The full title of the microfilm is: "Pacifism, disarmament and international relations. Ser.3 , Archives of the Peace Pledge Union, parts one and two : a listing and guide to the Harvester Microfilm Collection", Brighton : Harvester Microform, 1988, xxxvii, 114 p. ; 21 cm. It is made up of 2 parts: Part One: Annual Reports, 1937-1985 and Minute Books, 1936-1972 (10 reels); Part Two: The Pacifist, The PPU Journal, Pamphlets, Leaflets and other Publications, 1936-1986 (17 reels).
