| Background Information | The Salisbury Bypass Action Group was an environmental organisation, opposing the proposed bypass for Salisbury during the 1990s. As such, it formed part of the wider phenomenon of anti-roads activism during that decade. The scheme was scrapped in 1997, by the incoming Labour government. |
