The Campaign for the Accountability of American Bases (CAAB) is a campaign group, which emerged out of the protests targeted towards the US Air Force base at Menwith Hill, North Yorkshire. Opposed to both weapons of mass destruction generally, and more specifically to the plans for an American-led missile defence system, the Campaign seeks the withdrawal of US troops from British soil, through monitoring and research, and undertaking public and Parliamentary campaigning, non violent direct action and civil disobedience.
