| Background Information | The Chile Solidarity Campaign was a human rights group, campaigning against the abuses of the Pinochet regime. Established shortly after the military coup that overthrew the democratically elected Allende government, and brought Augusto Pinochet to power, the Campaign ceased to operate following the restoration of democracy in 1990.
