| Background Information | Christian Action was a group led by Canon John Collins, in order to encourage socio-political activity amongst Christians. As such, it is the successor body to Collins' Fellowship of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (est. 1943). In turn, Christian Action established the International Defence and Aid Fund for Southern Africa. Cook Routledge Guide to British Political Archives 2006 |
