The Church Army is an evangelical social-action organisation, with links to the Anglican Church, working on a wide range of projects. Established by Anglican curate Wilson Carlile, it now focuses particularly on the areas of evangelism, church planting, children and young people, older people, and homelessness. It also maintains a research unit in the Sheffield Centre, and the Wilson Carlile College Of Evangelism, also in Sheffield.
