| Background Information | The Family Policy Studies Centre was a research centre, debating and considering the impact of factors such as demography, public policy and social change on the family, and the impact these changes should in turn have on public policy. A successor organisation to the Study Commission on the Family, the Centre closed in 2001 due to lack of funding.
