| Background Information | The Commission on the Future of the Voluntary Sector was established by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) under the chairmanship of Nicholas Deakin. The resulting report, Meeting the Challenge of Change, commonly known as the Deakin Report, was published in 1996. |
