| Background Information | The IPA, the working name of the Involvement and Participation Association, works with unionised and non-unionised organisations, in order to develop consultation and partnership in the workplace, with a view to improving company performance, employee-employer relations and staff morale. The IPA emerged out of the Labour movement, having originally been founded as the Labour Association for Promoting Co-operative Production based on the Co-partnership of Workers.
