DescriptionThe archive of the Anglo-Austrian Society has recently been transferred from the Wiener Library to the Germanic Studies Library in the University of London. It is currently housed at 29 Russell Square, London WC1B 5DP (although the Germanic Studies Library is due to move into the Senate House Library sometime within the next two or three years). The Anglo-Austrian Society intend to add to the archives again in 2007. (Source: contacts with the Anglo-Austrian Society and the Germanic Studies Library in February 2007).
Access RightsThe collection is open to bona-fide researchers and has already been consulted extensively. Anyone wishing to use it should contact the Germanic Studies Library, University of London, in the first instance.
CoverageThe date ranges of the different parts of the collection vary but the earliest documents seem to date from 1944, the latest from 1989.

Finding Aids/CataloguesThe collection has not been catalogued and is unlikely to be before the move to Senate House. There is a typed list giving, briefly, the contents of each box. It is not available electronically.
