The Consortium for Street Children is an umbrella network of UK-based international children's organisations, seeking, in its own words, "to improve the lives of street children worldwide in the areas of prevention and early intervention, HIV/AIDS, violence, street child-centred education, and child participation and empowerment". Established to facilitate more effective working within the sector, principal activities include capacity-building and support for member bodies, lobbying, and awareness-raising.
