| Background Information | The Association of Rivers Trusts (ART) is the umbrella body for local river trusts, those voluntary organisations formed to protect and manage river systems. Membership is drawn primarily from trusts in England and Wales. ART was formed by the Eden Rivers Trust, the Tweed Foundation, the Westcountry Rivers Trust, and the Wye & Usk Foundation.
