The Catholic Student Council, the working name of the Catholic Students' Trust of England and Wales, exists to promote Catholicism and the Catholic word mission amongst students in higher education. The Council itself is currently in abeyance, although the Trust continues to make grants to university chaplaincies for student activities. The Council replaced the Union of Catholic Students, and operates under the umbrella of the Conference of Catholic Chaplains in Higher Education in England and Wales. Charity no. 328705.
