The Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility (ECCR) is a research, networking, awareness-raising and corporate-engagement group, with a membership drawn from institutions and individuals amongst Britain and Ireland's Christian community. Affiliated to Churches Together in Britain & Ireland, the Council seeks to persuade Christian community of its responsibility to "encourage companies to adopt and maintain the highest standards of corporate responsibility in all aspects of their business, and express concern when they do not; and uphold these same high standards through responsible investment and use of their own resources."
