The Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland is one of a wide range of philanthropic institutions established by businessman Andrew Carnegie. Set up in order to secure the financial base of the Scottish universities, and to remove the barrier of tuition costs, the Trust now supports the work of fourteen universities in Scotland, through the funding of fees, scholarships and expeditions.
