Background Information

Samaritan's Purse was originally founded by Bob Pierce after his visit to the disaster-struck region of Kojedo, Korea. It is an international, Christian-based emergency relief and developmental organisation, which seeks to work "through existing evangelical mission agencies and national churches" to achieve its aims.
