| Background Information | Tools for Self Reliance (TFSR) is an international development charity assisting rural artisans in Africa through the refurbishment and distribution of basic tools. This forms part of a wider approach to facilitate grass-roots development in partnership with local community organisations, with the charity's foundation having been motivated by a sense that development work was not operating on a sufficiently local and small scale.
