| Background Information | Transaid, the working name of Transaid Worldwide Services Ltd, is an international development organisation seeking to improve quality of life in sub-Saharan Africa through better access to transport. The charity builds local transport skills as a means to generating access to basic services and healthcare, and improving the conditions for economic development. Cross-cutting themes such as HIV/AIDS and road safety are also addressed.
