Additional information

Researchers should note that circa 150 local branches of the EAW have deposited records in the appropriate record office. A full list is available from the NRA's organisation index (search with name of the organisation in the "name" field"). Many online catalogues of these branches are available online; there are links to them from the NRA or it is also possible to find approximately 25 catalogues from the A2A database by searching "Electrical Association for Women" in the field "creator of archive". There are numerous other minor references to the EAW in A2A and one reference in AIM25. The Institution of Engineering and Technology Archives also have the WES (Women's Engineering Society) collection (NAEST 92). WES was formed in 1919 and launched the EAW.
