DescriptionCook notes that "A complete record of IPPF Committee minutes, namely Central Council, Central Executive Committee, Members' Assembly, Budget and Finance Committee, International Programme Advisory Panel, and International Medical Advisory Panel, has been kept. Annual Reports have been published since 1951-52. Reports of conferences have been published whenever they are held. Other publications are: 'IPPF News' (1952-80); 'People' magazine (quarterly, 1973-92); 'IPPF Medical Bulletin' (bi-monthly, 1966 to date); 'Planet and People' (quarterly, 1992); 'Research in Reproduction' (1969-90); a series of 'Medical Handbooks', and numerous periodicals. The earlier part of the IPPF archive, consisting of some 300 boxes of mainly correspondence and dating from the late 1940s until 1975, has been deposited at the David Owen Centre for Population Growth Studies, University College, Cardiff. The collection is uncatalogued and deals principally with the establishment of Family Planning Associations around the world. Other records are retained at the IPPF's headquarters.'' C.
