| Background Information | The Campaign Against Censorship (CAC) was established in 1968 to both challenge censorship law, and aid affected artists.
CAC was relaunched in 1983, when it adopted its current name, and a broader freedom of expression remit. CAC believes that the benefits of censorship do not justify the dangers, and that adult consumption should be regulated by personal preference alone.
CAC is affiliated to Liberty, and the Sexual Freedom Coalition.
