| Background Information | Dignity in Dying is a pro-euthanasia campaign, arguing for the legal recognition of medically-assisted death. It also promotes the use of living wills, allowing for a patient's wishes to be known in the event of them being unable to communicate.
Dignity in Dying was established by doctors, led by Dr C Killock Millard.
The current name was adopted in 2006.
Dignity in Dying is a member of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies.
