| Background Information | EXIT is a pro-euthanasia campaign based in Scotland.
In 1980, it split from the London-based EXIT (a.k.a. the Voluntary Euthanasia Society, now Dignity in Dying) to form Scottish Exit. It has variously used the names the Voluntary Euthanasia Society, Scotland, and the Scottish Voluntary Euthanasia Society.
