The Church Society still holds at its headquarters some books that are pre-1950 and some are still in use (for more information see the Church Society website (History of the Society). In relation to patronage (advowsons) the Church Society keeps most of the historical documents. In relation to subsidiary charities, and some related trusts, some documents are with the Society's Solicitor, but the Society also holds copies. The Society has some, but by no means all, of the published reports etc of the various organisations. It also has at least a couple of books listing documents, particularly relating to patronage churches The Society is endeavouring to add details of some of the documents, trusts etc to its website - for example there is a list of subsidiary charities.
